Katniss will enter Movie Awards arena alongside 'Bridesmaids,' 'Potter,' 'The Help' and 'Breaking Dawn' tonight at 9 p.m. ET!

UNIVERSAL CITY, California — An archer, a bridesmaid, a wizard, a journalist and a vampire enter the MTV Movie Awards arena. Who will be victor in the fight for Movie of the Year?
We'll find out tonight when the ceremony airs live from Universal City's Gibson Amphitheatre at 9 p.m. ET, but in the meantime, let's take a look at this year's literary-heavy lineup. Will the odds be ever in the favor of ...
"The Hunger Games"
Based on the best-selling novel by Suzanne Collins, this dystopian tale follows heroine Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), who, along with 23 other kids, must fight in an annual televised death match. Director Gary Ross brought the grim, post-apocalyptic world of Panem to life in a fiercely loyal adaptation worthy of its source material, grossing more than $600 million worldwide and making household names out of stars Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. The film is the first in a potential four-film franchise.
"Bridesmaids
The only non-adaptation in the Movie of the Year category, "Bridesmaids" stars Kristen Wiig (who co-wrote the script with Annie Mumolo) as a hapless maid of honor whose friend's impending nuptials send her on a downward spiral of unemployment, homelessness and ill-timed bowel movements. The comedy boasts a cast of memorable female characters, including Melissa McCarthy's kooky Megan — a role that garnered the star an Oscar nomination.
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2"
Harry, Ron and Hermione cast their final spell on audiences last July with the eighth installment of their magical "Harry Potter" film franchise — the top-grossing film franchise of all time, by the way. Fans bid a fond farewell to the series last July, and this Movie Awards will be the last time the Hogwarts trio will battle for a Golden Popcorn together.
"The Help"
Set in 1960s Mississippi, "The Help" follows would-be journalist Skeeter Phelan (Emma Stone, this year's winner of the first-ever Trailblazer Award) as she sets about to document the often unsavory work environments of black maids. Much like "Bridesmaids," "The Help" stars an A-list cast of stellar women, including Bryce Dallas Howard, Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer.
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1"
Much has been made of stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's attempt at a Best Kiss four-peat, but let's not forget their vampire love story is also vying for a fourth consecutive win in the Movie of the Year category. The penultimate flick boasted many milestones for the formerly star-crossed couple, including their idyllic wedding and Bella's transformation into a vampire. Oh, yeah, and they also did it.
