Avril Lavigne Smolders On The Cover Of Nylon’s Music Issue (PHOTO)

Avril Lavigne is on the cover of Nylon magazine's music issue.

Avril Lavigne, Nylon's latest cover girl, clearly hasn't aged a day since 2002.

Would it be weird to say that Avril Lavigne is our spirit animal? The girl just doesn't age (see her "Here's To Never Growing Up" video), and honestly, we don't want to either! Judging by her cover shot on the cover of Nylon magazine's music issue, Chad Kroeger's soon-to-be wifey doesn't seem to have gained a single, solitary forehead wrinkle since "Complicated" came out in 2002. (Except, well, to be fair, she was, like, 17 at the time.)

Inside the issue, the girl with the glacier on her finger addresses everything from her place in the volatile music biz to her relationship with Nickelback's Chad Kroeger. On the music industry, she explains, "I wasn't the girl baring her midriff with backup dancers and a headset microphone. I came out and had a lot to say with my lyrics, and I played the guitar. I had a completely different getup, stage presence, everything." (You may not have exposed your midriff, Avril, but we all know you could've! #Absofsteel.)

On her relationship with the Nickleback frontman, Avril admits, "He does what I do -- he's a rocker, he plays guitar, he's onstage every night, he writes songs... We were having a really good time. We hit it off as writing partners, then friends, and we started dating last summer." We DIE. We're also curious: What do you think "rockers" wear at their own wedding? They'd probably reject flowers and lace, so maybe, like, some spikes and leather? (We hear Christian Louboutin makes one helluva spiky pump! Just a suggestion!)
