Today I’ll be looking at  some new toys by  Bandai for Disney’s Big Hero 6. I’ve taken some photos as well as some video. Check it out…

First up is the Deluxe Flying Baymax action figure, before I go any further I should  point out that he does not actually fly, sorry. He is very cool though, highly articulated and although  I haven’t seen the movie the figure seems to be an accurate representation of the character.

The  figure stands at 11 inches and comes with his buddy Hiro who can ride on his back. He has various electronic features as well as a very cool rocket fist which I will show you in the video. He’s pretty much on model save for the fact that instead of his face being white it’s clear so that the light up feature can create the illusion of his white face.

From what  I can tell the movie looks fun. It has the potential of being a Frozen size hit and if so hopefully Bandai is prepared with a ton of toys at the ready. I like this figure and think it would make a great holiday or birthday gift or just spoil your kid and get it. After the movie comes out I feel this figure will be the prestige figure that kids will want. It will retail for $39.99, depending on where you shop.

Next up is the Baymax Rocket Fist and Mask. It seems to have become a trend to have year round costumes or dress-up items for kids these days and I think that’s great. As a kid the closest I got was a Ghostbusters armband that came with the proton pack so these masks offer some really cool and inexpensive costume options for playtime.

Yes I tried on the mask and yes it was a little tight. Obviously I am not the intended audience for this type of toy but I do very much see the appeal. The mask comes with a strap and foam inserts for comfort.

My favorite part of this set is of course the Rocket Fist.

The fist is made of a soft foam material so that you don’t hurt yourself. The set will retail fro $19.99 depending on where you shop.

I’m very excited for this movie and the toys look great. Special thanks to Bandai and Sarah Gumina!
