Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition – Voice Talent Behind the Scenes

Batman: Arkham City is full of colorful characters from the Batman universe brought to life by dedicated developers and talented voice actors who truly bring the iconic heroes and villains to life in the game.

To prepare gamers for the May 29th North American launch of Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a new behind-the-scenes video featuring the voice talent of Kevin Conroy (Batman), Mark Hamill (The Joker) and Stana Katic (Talia al Ghul) of ABC’s hit TV show Castle.

Get a look behind the curtain at the voiceover recording sessions and see the actors discuss the characters they play and how they approach portraying them.

Newcomers to last year’s Dark Knight adventure will be able to pick up Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition on May 29 (North America), which includes all previous downloadable content (Catwoman Pack, Nightwing Bundle Pack, Robin Bundle Pack, Challenge Map Pack and Arkham City Skins Pack) plus Harley Quinn’s Revenge Pack. Fans who already own the original edition of Batman: Arkham City will be able to download Harley Quinn’s Revenge Pack beginning May 29 on PlayStation®Network ($9.99) and the Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for Xbox 360 (800 Microsoft Points).

Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players flying through the expansive Arkham City – five times larger than the game world in Batman: Arkham Asylum – the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds.  Featuring an incredible Rogues Gallery of Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals including Catwoman, The Joker, The Riddler, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze and many others, the game allows players to genuinely experience what it feels like to be The Dark Knight delivering justice on the streets of Gotham City.

Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition is based on DC Comics’ core Batman license and rated “T” for Teen by the ESRB.  Fans can visit www.batmanarkhamcity.com for more information about the game.
