Episode 13 - Rise And Shine

Wake up, Norman Reedus! It's time to find out what this "Death Stranding" game is all about!

Episode 13 - Time For Breakfast!

Oh no, we're on a weird beach that seems to be red with blood (or something)? And we have to find a person?

How are we ever going to do that? I'll let you experiment for a little before I tell you.

You wanna maybe take a swim or something?

Episode 13 - No, Sam, No!

No, no, no! Don't go for a swim, that's silly! The water is red and that can't be good! You'll just get washed back onshore anyway.

Okay, answer in the next slide.

Episode 13 - Here's What You Do…

Just run real gosh darn fast. Run. JUST RUN!

RUN UNTIL YOU ARE VERY TIRED.

You'll be forced to take a rest, and the plot will continue.

Episode 13 - Time To Make A Choice

Whoa! Okay, wow. Something really intense must have happened in that cutscene because now you have a gun and you're pointing it at someone.

So, there are a few ways to proceed from this point on, and you need to choose how you're going to handle things.

I'll let you experiment with your potential actions in this scenario, but rest assured, this is only one "good" outcome that will let the plot move on properly.

More on what the correct course of action is in the next slide.

Episode 13 - Bring It In

The correct way to resolve this scenario is to wade through the water up to the figure, and once you're close enough, you'll see a prompt to hug them with R2.

You know what? More games need hug buttons.

You'll be shown another extended scene after this.

Episode 13 - Roll Credits

Okay, so now you're on a grey beach while credits roll. Are you… supposed to do anything?

Well, yes and not really.

There'll be a few different credit segments. While they roll, you're given the option run around the beach. When the current credit segment finishes, Norman Reedus will get tired and sit down, and another scene will play out.

Now, if you don't just want to hold the analog stick, you don't actually *have* to run around the entire time. You can just stand still for all the game cares. However, when the credit segment is over, you'll have to run at least a few steps for Norman Reedus to enter his "I'm tired because I just ran three feet" animation.

This will happen a total of 5 times, with the last running break being the longest (that's the proper rolling credits).

Then, something will happen.

And you'll have to press a button.

And then do a thing that you've done a few times before.

And then watch another 25 minutes worth of cutscenes.

You're comfy, right? I told you to get comfy.

But congratulations! You did it! You finally, well and truly did it. You came on this journey to complete Death Stranding, and now you're there. It's been quite a journey, hasn't it? Well, time to log off and go play Pokemon or something a little less intense.

Wait… what do you mean there's a Chapter 14 walkthrough too?
