Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational to be ported to PS3

PS3 version of Vita golf game to feature cross-play option, Move support, and two new modes.

Virtual golf nuts will soon be able to play the PlayStation 3 version of Vita golf title Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational.

According to Japanese magazine Famitsu, the PS3 version will be called "Minna no Golf 6" (or Hot Shots Golf 6). This version will feature PlayStation Move motion controller support as well as cross-play support with the Vita version. The DLC that was previously available for the Vita version will be available for free in the PS3 version.

In addition, the game will have two new modes: slot mode and "minna no short course" mode. The former allows players to spin a slot to gain field bonuses depending on what combination they get during a match. The latter is possibly the franchise's take on minigolf, where each course will be smaller than usual.

The Japanese version of the game will be out on November 22. A release date for the North American or European version has yet to be announced. For more information, check out GameSpot's review of the Vita title.
