James Wan’s Aquaman Animated Series Gets First Trailer

WarnerMedia Kids and Family along with DC released the first trailer for Aquaman: King of Atlantis. The new animated three part mini-series shows a complete reimagining of Aquaman, Mera, and his royal court of characters as they retell Aquaman's first adventures as King of Atlantis.

If the animated style looks familiar, it's because Victor Courtright and Marly Halpern-Graser from ThunderCats Roar! will be showrunners and co-executive producers. Aquaman: King of Atlants will also be executive produced by Aquaman director James Wan, Atomic Monster's Michael Clear, Rob Hackett, and Sam Register, who worked on Swamp Thing and Teen Titans, Go!, respectively.

The voice cast includes Cooper Andrews (The Walking Dead) as Aquaman, Gillian Jacobs (Community) as Mera, Thomas Lennon (Reno 911) as Vulko, and Dana Snyder (Aqua Teen Hunger Force) as Ocean Master, Aquaman's half-brother.
