Neither TLC nor Kelly Clarkson want scrubs of any sort.

We already knew that Kelly Clarkson was an utter musical visionary when she covered  Eminem's "Lose Yourself." But, now... Oh man. I need to sit down for this one and catch my breath, because the Best Video With A Message VMA nominee just slayed her cover of my childhood anthem, otherwise known as TLC's "No Scrubs." Excuse me while I try to revive myself.

Surely you're aware that on her "Stronger" tour, Kelly's been taking cover song requests via Twitter. In recent weeks, she's covered Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe," put her own twist on Britney Spears' "Everytime," and changed our lives forever with her cover of No Doubt's "Don't Speak." We hate to pick favorites, but Kelly's spin on "No Scrubs" is a complete game changer. Perhaps it's because Kelly's R&B prowess really shines through on TLC's masterpiece, or maybe it's just because hearing Kelly sing the words "deadbeat ass" thrills us to no end. Whatever the case, we thank you, Kelly! But srsly, what's a Clarkson Stan got to do to get a Mariah "Always Be My Baby" cover?? ::Spends Monday tweeting that relentlessly, okaybai.::
