New Song: Drake Featuring James Fauntleroy, ‘On My Way’ (NSFW)

Drake rushes home for something special on his woozy new track, "On My Way."

"OMW." It's a simple text that can mean any number of things, depending on the time you send it. From 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., it probably means you're going to pick someone up for work or school. From 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., it means you're probably meeting up for dinner and/or drinks. But from midnight to 4 a.m., as Drake probably means it on his new song, "On My Way," let's just say most "omw" messages are coming from folks with not a lot of blood flowing to their brains. If you know what we mean.

While it remains unclear if "On My Way" will appear on Drake's forthcoming third album, Nothing Was The Same, the reportedly older track DID recently get an update from the "No New Friends" rapper and his "Girls Love Beyonce" collaborator, James Fauntleroy. Drizzy states his intentions pretty clearly on the woozy, sultry R&B-influenced track: "And I ain't only f*** you like that on your birthday/ Baby I just landed/ Bout to get my bags in/ All I need's an address and I'm on my way."

WHOA. OK, if you get a text or DM like that, that's definitely a situation where you shove all the piles of clothes on your floor into the closet or under your bed, run to the bathroom to brush your teeth, and then throw on your best outfit -- all to casually say "...sup" when Drake (or whomever your personal Drake is) turns up at your door. Not saying we've been there... but there's a slight-to-major chance we've been there. (#InevitableBootyCalls)
