New Song: Sean Kingston Featuring T.I., ‘Back 2 Life (Live It Up)’

Sean Kingston is back, y'all!

Unfortunately, we all remember Sean Kingston's near fatal Jet Ski accident. Luckily, Sean has made a full recovery and is thankful to have lived through the harrowing ordeal. Cue Sean's latest record, a T.I.-assisted banger titled "Back 2 Life (Live It Up)," which, as you might have gathered, is Sean's way of giving thanks for life and reminding us not to take anything for granted.

Listen to Sean Kingston's "Back 2 Life (Live It Up)" after the jump.

Produced by Sean's longtime collaborator J.R. Rotem, Sean's new jam features a hefty sample from Soul II Soul’s 1989 chart-topping hit “Back to Life (However Do You Want Me).” Set to a thumping, island-flavored beat, Sean's vocals sound as pristine as ever while he sings about living every moment as if it were your last: "But what don't kill me make me stronger/ I know it's gon' be alright/ So we celebrating tonight/ Yo, we celebrating love tonight/ The time is now/ Gotta make it count/ So before we die/ Let's go all out."

OK fine, mayyyybe Sean's lyrics are a bit on the cheesy side, but let's cut this dude a break. We're pretty sure living through a near-tragic Jet Ski accident entitles you to about two to three years of writing songs about living, being free, being happy and not missing out on any more moments in life. With that said, welcome back, dawg!
