New Streaming Service Reviving Two MTV Shows, Will Launch With 50 Original Shows

Get ready folks, another streaming service is coming our way. Quibi is a platform seeking to stand out from the already crowded field of streaming services by focusing on short-form videos for the mobile device.

The app is set to launch with 50 original shows on April 5. Two of the shows, Punk'd and Singled Out, happen to be revived MTV series. Chance The Rapper will host Punk'd, and from the trailer, Megan Thee Stallion will be one of the celebrities pranked. Keke Palmer and Joel Kim Booster will host Singled Out and link singles to a "pool of diverse singles through social media."

There's quite a few celebrities who will have their own "bite-sized" shows, including Jennifer Lopez who is hosting a charity-esque series, Chrissy Teigen who is doing her own take on "Judge Judy," and Idris Elba whose show was probably pitched as, "A hot man in hot cars."
