Retailer lists Assassin’s Creed: Rising Phoenix as a PlayStation Vita game

Another screenshot for Assassin's Creed: Rising Phoenix surfaces as Spanish retailer lists the game for PlayStation Vita.

Assassin's Creed: Rising Phoenix is a PlayStation Vita spin-off, if a listing by Spanish retailer XtraLife is to be believed.

The now removed product listing (spotted by All Games Beta) dated the game for October 10, three weeks before Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Following an image last week showing the logo of the series' Erudito Collective, a new screenshot shows two figures adorned in white hoodies bearing the logo of present-day series villains Abstergo Industries.

Ubisoft has already announced that Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will feature a modern-day storyline with players will take the role of a researcher at Abstergo.

Much like the last image, Assassin's Creed: Lineage studio Ubisoft Digital Arts is name dropped.

Ubisoft declined to comment when approached by GameSpot.
