“STAR TREK: DISCOVERY” AND “THE TWILIGHT ZONE” BACK TO BACK PANELS AT WONDERCON ON SATURDAY, MARCH 30

LOS ANGELES – March 29, 2018 – CBS Television Studios and CBS All Access invite Star Trek and The Twilight Zone fans from around the world to join us for back to back behind-the-scenes panels at WonderCon in Anaheim on Saturday, March 30th in Room North 200A.

 

“Star Trek: Discovery” Inside the Visual Effects Panel Description

Go behind-the-scenes with the award-nominated Star Trek: Discovery visual effects team as they dive deep into the making of the series and their process for re-creating the world of Trek in the modern day. Scheduled panelists include: Olatunde Osunsanmi (Executive Producer), Jason Zimmerman (VFX Supervisor), Ante Dekovic (VFX Supervisor), Neville Page (Concept Designer) and Stephen Pavelski (Previs Supervisor).

Reimagining “The Twilight Zone” for the Modern Audience Panel Description

“The Twilight Zone” became a worldwide phenomenon as it used socially conscious storytelling to explore the human condition and culture of the times. The godfather of sci-fi series, the show explored humanity’s hopes, despairs, prides and prejudices in metaphoric ways conventional dramas could not.  The upcoming reimagining of “The Twilight Zone” from executive producers Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg is coming to CBS All Access April 1.  Join series producers and the creative minds behind the series for an exclusive sneak peek and discussion on reintroducing “The Twilight Zone” to a modern audience.  Scheduled panelists include: Win Rosenfeld (Executive Producer), Glen Morgan (Executive Producer and Writer), Marco Beltrami and Brandon Roberts (Co-Composers) and Alex Rubens (Writer).

After answering a distress signal from the U.S.S. Enterprise, season two of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY finds the crew of the U.S.S.
