Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Tickets Go On Sale Monday

A new trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is coming this Monday, and alongside that, advance tickets for the much-anticipated sci-fi blockbuster will go on sale as well.

Ticket-seller Fandango confirmed the ticket availability date in a press release. Fandango's Erik Davis said, "We are beyond excited to see how this momentous chapter in Star Wars storytelling nears its end."

It's not exactly clear when, precisely, tickets will go on sale. For previous Star Wars movies, advance ticket sales drew a huge amount of interest and some ticketing sites went down. Given that The Rise of Skywalker is the conclusion of the Skywalker Saga, it's expected there will be a huge amount of interest in advance ticket sales for the new movie.

The new Rise of Skywalker trailer and advance ticket availability comes on October 21, which would have been Carrie Fisher's 63rd birthday.

The Rise of Skywalker opens in theatres on December 20. Fans won't have to wait that long to see new Star Wars content, however, as the new Star Wars live-action TV show, The Mandalorian, premieres in November on Disney Plus.

As for Star Wars video games, Titanfall and Apex Legends developer Respawn's new game, Jedi Fallen Order, launches on November 15. GameSpot recently went hands-on with the new game, and you can check out our impressions in the story below.
