Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Tickets On Sale Now

Right on schedule, advance tickets for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker are beginning to go on sale at theatres around the world.

The Australian movie chain Event Cinemas is now selling tickets at its theatres across the country, while AMC, Fandango, Atom, and others in the United States and other parts of the world are selling tickets as well. General ticket availability at theatres and ticket-sellers around the world is expected to expand over the course of the rest of October 21. As always, it's a good idea to check with your local theatre or favorite ticket-seller to get the latest information.

Get tickets at Fandango

The Star Wars website also announced more details on special opening-night events related to The Rise of Skywalker. A number of theatres are holding fan events including marathons showing all nine films in the Saga on December 19. Those who attend the special events will get an "Opening Night" pin and a deal on concessions. People who attend the marathon sessions will get an "exclusive blanket" to stay comfortable during the events, which begin at 5 PM local time.

Get tickets at Atom

The movie theatre chain AMC is running a "Star Wars Sunday" event whereby every Sunday from December 22 through January 12 those who buy a ticket to see the movie in IMAX will get one of four exclusive art prints made by Dan Mumford.

Regal Cinemas, meanwhile, is holding a Saturday event where the first 500 people to buy a ticket in IMAX on Saturdays from December 21 through January 4 will get an "exclusive collectible ticket" with art from Tom Whalen. There are three different tickets.

The Alamo Drafthouse, meanwhile, has announced that it will offer a commemorative Star Wars issue of Birth.Movies.Death and Star Wars-inspired drink glasses designed by Mondo as an optional add-on for tickets.

Finally, Atom Tickets has announced that those who buy Rise of Skywalker tickets through the Atom Tickets app or through the theatre's website can add an "exclusive, framed collector's ticket" to their order.

A new trailer for The Rise of Skywalker premiered this evening during Monday Night Football. The film arrives in theatres on December 20.
