Half-Life originally launched on PC in 1998. Now, 17 years later, it is playable on a smart watch.

YouTube user Dave Bennett got the game working on an Android Wear watch by using an app called SDLash to emulate the Goldsource engine that runs the original Half-Life. Originally, Bennett got Half-Life working on other Android devices, then realized that the same process could get the game running on an Android Watch.

The game works surprisingly well, too. Its frame rate is inconsistent, ranging from 2 to 60 frames per second depending on the setting. However, the game is fully functional, and the watch effectively renders its graphics.
