Watch Garbage’s Live Performances Of ‘Blood For Poppies,’ ‘Stupid Girl’ + More From MTV Hive’s ‘Live In NYC’

Garbage

Garbage is back in black (and red).

MTV Hive's "Live in NYC" series just got a visit from some rock royalty: Garbage, who brought their Not Your Kind Of People tour to Manhattan's Webster Hall. The band played new single "Blood for Poppies" as well as classics including "Stupid Girl" and "Push It" as part of a ferocious set that showed the group's rock chops haven't aged a day. Nor has Shirley Manson's style, all bloody black and red with her famous mane in adorable goth pigtails. During the set, she prowled the stage like a hungry jungle cat, while Butch Vig's drumming remains the deep-sea anchor to the band's stormy sound.

We've got video evidence of the band getting back to business after their six-year hiatus -- you might want to warn the neighbors, because it's about to get heavy.

+ Check out Garbage's performances of "Blood for Poppies," "Stupid Girl" and "Push It" after the jump, and watch their entire set, including backstage video interviews, over at MTV Hive.
