Watch Of Monsters And Men’s ‘PUSH Live’ Performance Of ‘Little Talks’ (VIDEO)

Of Monsters And Men perform "Little Talks" live. We fall even more in love with this band.

First up in our exclusive new series of PUSH Live performances is Of Monsters And Men, the enchanting six-piece indie/folk outlet from Iceland. We've been a tad bit obsessed with Of Monsters And Men's sweeping melodic pop sound since their My Head Is An Animal album dropped a few months back, and it features the headstrong, chanty "Little Talks," which the band performed for "PUSH Live" below.

Of Monsters And Men fell right into their groove and delivered a solid live performance marked by stunning raw vocals by co-guitarists Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir and Ragnar Þórhallsson. (Anyone else get a slight Gotye and Kimbra "Somebody That I Used To Know" vibe mixed with Band Perry and Civil Wars and Decemberists maritime swashbuckling-ness, or is that primarily me?) What we love most though, is that it's clear this is a band that thrives off the energy of their live set -- all six players looked like they just discovered the magical joy of trading lilting lyrics and hurried harmonies. And oh, the accordions! If accordions and trumpet blasts aren't reason enough to watch this video immediately, then we just can't help you.
