Xbox Australia today announced the entry of the Xbox One Racing Team in the 2013 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. To tie in with the event, upcoming racing game Forza Motorsport 5 will include the Bathurst track, Mount Panorama, when it launches exclusively for the Xbox One.

As the wildcard entrant in the 2013 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, the Xbox One car will be racing with drivers Andy Priaulx and Mattias Ekström behind the wheel. The Xbox One racing team will be racing with the latest Holden VF Commodore.

Developer Turn 10 revealed earlier this year that Forza Motorsport 5 will require a one-time internet connection to Xbox Live when first started. The game will run at 60 frames per second in a native 1080p resolution.

Forza Motosport 5 will be released on November 22 alongside the Xbox One console. Fans who pre-order the game at retail or purchase it on Xbox Live within two weeks of launch will receive the Day One edition, which grants bonus cars.
