Check out Paramore's cover of The Cure's "In Between Days."

Paramore covered the perfect pop song: The Cure's "In Between Days."

What happens when one of our favorite bands covers another favorite band? Aside from our heads exploding from all the AWESOME, all we can do is hit repeat, dance on our desks, and do happy cartwheels around the office. And if our supervisor asks why we haven't gotten anything done all day, we'll just say that Paramore covered The Cure's "In Between Days" AND ALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD.

Recorded for Sirius XM's Hits 1, the "Still Into You" singers performed a stripped-down, slowed-down, contemplative rendition of The Cure's "In Between Days." Leading with a quiet countdown from Taylor York, Taylor and brother Justin York's acoustic strums usher in the familiar melody before Hayley Williams passionately delivers the opening lines, crooning, "Yesterday I got so old, I felt like I could die. Yesterday I got so old, it made me want to cry/ So go on, go on just walk away. Go on, go on your choice is made. Go on, go on and disappear. Go on, go on away from here." (Oh, the regret. SO MANY FEELINGS!)

So yeah, maybe we didn't anticipate this particular cover, but Paramore paying tribute to The Cure shouldn't come as too big of a shock. Because they're huge fans! Remember when Paramore opened for The Cure at last summer's Reading and Leeds Festival in the U.K.? "We play, literally, right before The Cure. Someone is going to have to help me stand up when I see Robert Smith," Hayley told Buzznet at the time. After their set, Hayley tweeted a photo with The Cure frontman, and her caption says it all: "Have you ever had one of these moments??" Um, no, but along with our jealousy we'll settle for vicariously living the experience through you, Hayley!
