NEW ALBUM RELEASES

+ Big Time Rush24/Seven: The third offering from the boys in Big Time Rush, 24/Seven compiles new music from the current fourth season of their eponymous Nickelodeon show. Watch their "Confetti Falling" video, which features a catchy chorus and colorful confetti abounds, natch. Also check out the retro video for their single, "Like Nobody's Around," where the guys strike dance moves and wear outfits from eras past through today. Karmin, who will make an appearance on the upcoming "Big Time Rush" season finale, are featured in "Song For You." Also, rapper Jake Miller guests on "Lost In Love."

The Lonely IslandThe Wack Album: The comedians behind the awesome "SNL Digital Shorts" -- Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone -- drop their third album. Like their previous efforts, they've brought famous guests along for the hilarious, NSFW ride. Solange drops verses in between The Lonely Island's inaccurately punctuated "Semicolon." In the Robyn-assisted "Go Kindergarten," they get hashtag heavy while poking fun at sheeple and dance-commanding rhymes, which get sicker by the BPM. Lady GagaJustin TimberlakeAdam LevineKendrick Lamar,  Billie Joe ArmstrongPharrell WilliamsT-Pain, and Too $hort also make appearances. Also check out "Spring Break Anthem," an ode to gay marriage by contrast to the absurd acceptance of spring break rituals.

+ Surfer Blood, Pythons: For their sophomore album, Surfer Blood frontman JP Pitts revealed they were more focused, with "vulnerable," but also "euphoric, invincible" moments. "Compared to our past records, the songs are less ADD, in a way," he told MTV Hive. "It's not just us throwing every good idea that we have into a song just because we can." Check out the catchy "Weird Shapes," whose self-described manic lyric themes mirror the left-field pop song's catchy musical style. Also, watch the Dum Dum Girls' Malia James-directed video for the '90s-influenced tune "Demon Dance."

Check out more new album releases, upcoming TV appearances, and performances after the jump.

+ Jimmy Eat World, Damage: For their eighth studio album, Jim Adkins and company did their best to pen what they told Rolling Stone was "an adult breakup record." Tracks like "I Will Steal You Back," "Appreciation," and title track "Damage" speak to this progression with the experimenting in different sounds like country-rock, yet still retaining their stomp-and-holler spirit. Stream Damage in its entirety on Jimmy Eat World's site.

+ Jason IsbellSoutheasternThe former Drive-By Truckers member gets intensely personal on Southeastern, his first solo album minus his 400 Unit backing band since he debuted his solo work in 2007. The result is an intimate, acoustically rich effort of confessionals, such as "Different Days," "Traveling Alone," "Flying Over Water," and "Live Oak." The raw album themes represent a transitional time; he wrote the album after finding sobriety and just prior to marrying singer/fiddler Amanda Shires. "It's sort of a version of therapy for me. I'm able to explain my own feelings about these things to myself," he told MTV Hive. Stream Southeastern in its entirety via MTV Hive.

+ Various ArtistsNOW That's What I Call Country 6: For those seeking a sampling of the biggest current country hits, the folks who curate the "NOW" franchise have made the ultimate playlist. The 18-song set includes Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," Hunter Hayes' "Wanted," Carrie Underwood's "Good Girl," Jason Aldean's "Take A Little Ride," Lady Antebellum's "Dancin' Away With My Heart," The Band Perry's "Better Dig Two," and Luke Bryan's "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye," along with other high-charting tunes.
