343 Increasing Efforts To Ban Halo Players For Racist And Hateful Behavior

343 Industries is increasing its efforts to ban players for racist or hateful actions and words in Halo games, Halo community director Brian Jarrard said in a tweet. This comes in the wake of the killing of George Floyd and the protests that followed.

While the tweet does not mention any specific changes beyond increased efforts, it does mention that the developer has a zero tolerance policy for this type of behavior.

"Racism and bigotry have no place in the world or Halo," Jarrard said. "We have a zero tolerance policy and are committed to taking more action to remove this behavior from our games and community. The Banhammer is fired up. Consider this your only warning."
