Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Gameplay Leaks Ahead Of Ubisoft Forward

Ahead of Ubisoft Forward this weekend, nearly 30 minutes of Assassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay from an early build has found its way online.

The footage, which is being bounced between hosts as Ubisoft attempts to scrub it from the internet, gives us our first real look at the female version of Eivor, after only the male version was featured in the game's two recent trailers. The footage covers a lot of ground, showing off some of the game's open-world, naval gameplay, lots of melee combat, and an assault on the real-life Burgh Castle in East Anglia.

The footage is grainy and there are aspects that look like they will be polished before being shown off officially, but as a small slice of what to expect for Valhalla it's a comprehensive leak. Valhalla looks to be retaining many of the structural elements from Assassin's Creed Odyssey, including dialogue choices and role-playing aspects that might affect the narrative. Specifically, Eivor is given the choice to kill or spare the occupants of the castle she invades, which may or may not tie into quests later.
