Join Captain Action at this coming weekend at the New Jersey Comic Expo! Attendees of our “Boys and Toys: 50 Years of Captain Action will get a sneak peek at the Captain Action Card game coming in 2016. A limited number of Captain Action and Dr Evil wild cards will be distributed to the crowd as well as a promotional card showing off the package art from Murphy Anderson.
Also see new art for the upcoming game from: Jerry Ordway, Steve Lightle and Kerry Callen.
“I am really looking forward to seeing the reaction to these prototype cards and seeing the game begin to take shape,” says Game Producer, Harold Sipe. “I think fans of Captain Action and of great comic art will be excited to see new works from Ordway, Lightle and Callen.”
The Captain Action Card Game is a 3-in -1 party game card deck that will be released in 2016 to coincide with the Captain’s 50th Anniversary. Based on the original 1967 Kool Pop deck, the game sees updated gameplay and art from Steve Lightle, Murphy Anderson, Jerry Ordway, Carmine Infantino and Kerry Callen.
