AU Shippin’ Out June 3-7: Remember Me

In case you forgot, Capcom's third-person action game Remember Me is released this week.

Futuristic third-person action game Remember Me hits Australian shelves this week for the PS3, 360 and PC.

The game sees players take on the role of Nilin, a memory hunter who specializes in stealing or altering the memories of others. Remember Me was formerly known as Adrift when it was announced in 2011.

Nilin is a mixed-raced female, a character design which reportedly sat well with publisher Capcom. Developer Dontnod revealed it had not been pressured by Capcom to change the lead characters' appearance.

"No, we wanted Nilin to stand out. I think these sort of issues become self-fulfilling prophesies; people saying that only white males sell so then everyone only does white males," Dontnot co-founder Jean-Maxime Moris said.

Capcom has revealed plans to spin the game into a "major franchise", with future instalments to be released on next-generation consoles.

For those who prefer fantasy universes to sci-fi, Bethesda's open-world role-playing game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be receiving the Legendary Edition treatment this week. This version of Skyrim collates the game's three DLC expansions--Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn--and comes with the 1.9 patch pre-installed.

The 1.9 patch, which was released in March this year, added a Legendary difficult mode and the ability to continue levelling the player character indefinitely. The patch also fixed over 70 games bugs, including memory and stability improvements.
