Austin Mahone and Timeflies gave a killer performance at MTV's Artist To Watch Showcase.

We anticipated having multiple heart attacks when Austin Mahone and Timeflies took the stage Monday night at NYC's Highline Ballroom, but there was no way to know just how intense our next two-and-a-half hours would turn out. Coming off the heels of MTV's last Artist To Watch showcase with Jessie Ware, Zedd, twenty | one | pilots, and Robert DeLong, MTV's latest showcase featured its own MTV Artist To Watch Austin Mahone and producer-vocalist pop duo Timeflies, who played to a sold-out audience of die-hard fans. And just in case you happened NOT to be at last night's show (if so, there's the door), you're in luck! We've got an entire visual recap of Austin and Timeflies' performances right here. Check out the photos below!

Playing to a sold-out audience of manic Mahomies, Austin looked right at home on stage as he grooved alongside a crew of talented backup dancers. "What's up, New York?" Austin asked, setting the audience off once again with a fresh set of screams. Opening his set with "Say Somethin," Austin dance, walked, and sometimes dance-walked around the stage, grabbing ladies' hands and sometimes pausing to ask, "Where's my special girl? Are you my special girl?" (cue another round of shrieks). Sauntering across the stage, Austin burned through tons of other hits like "Say You're Just A Friend" (props for rapping Flo Rida's part, dude), "Shawty, Shawty" and "11:11." While Austin is a gifted live performer and dancer (he's the next Justin Bieber, y'all), the set's finest moments had to be when he swapped his dancers and DJ for an acoustic guitar, asking, "You guys mind if I do something special?" (Obviously no one minded.) Recalling his YouTube roots, Austin serenaded the audience with two stunning covers, including Edwin McCain's "I'll Be" (OMG THE "DAWSON'S CREEK" FLASHBACKS) and Mario's "Let Me Love You." In sum? AU-MAZING. And not bad timing, considering the video for Austin's "Heart In My Hand (Live On The Beach)" just dropped today.

Next up, Timeflies' Rob Resnick and Cal hopped on stage, but not before prepping the audience with a Top 40 mashup of hits like will.i.am and Britney Spears' "Scream & Shout," Adele's "Skyfall," Rihanna's "Diamonds," Bruno Mars' "Locked Out Of Heaven," Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen's "Good Time," Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'," among others. Finally, the duo took the stage in a flurry of hip-hop, pop, electro, and dubstep beats, with Rob on laptop duty and Cal taking lead vocals. "Got any Jersey out there?" they asked the audience, before moving up and down the tristate area. "How about Long Island? Boston? New York City???" Churning out hits like "Ex Games," "Swoon," and "Turn It Up," and introducing a new track, "I Choose U," Timeflies laced their songs around pop radio favorites, often pausing to belt out a few lines of Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble." and The Wanted's "Glad You Came." Rob also managed to fit in an MTV-themed freestye, which touched on everything from "Jersey Shore" to "Buckwild" (even Buzzworthy got a shout-out! HOLLER!).
