Blumhouse Horror Movie They/Them Headed To Peacock

Peacock has unveiled They/Them, a new horror film from Blumhouse starring Kevin Bacon. The film, a queer empowerment story set at a gay conversion camp, will debut on the streaming service on August 5 according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie's title, pronounced "they-slash-them" is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the film being an "LGBTQIA+ slasher." An official synopsis for the film is as follows: "As the camp's methods become increasingly more psychologically unsettling, the campers must work together to protect themselves. When an unidentified axe murderer starts claiming victims, things get even more dangerous."

As of this writing, no trailers or clips were released. A partial cast was revealed in a production still--showing Kevin Bacon as camp director Owen Whistler, Carrie Preston as his wife Cora, and Anna Chlumsky as an administrator. Set over a week-long session at the camp, the film focuses on the various campers, led by trans and nonbinary Jordan (Theo Germaine), as they undergo psychological and emotional torment from the camp's programming.
