Buzz Bites (11/01/12): Rihanna Announces ‘777’ Tour Dates, NBC To Host Sandy Benefit Featuring Christina Aguilera, Springsteen & More

Rihanna announced a "777" promo tour in honor of her upcoming "Unapologetic" album.

+ To celebrate her forthcoming (and seventh!) studio album, Unapologetic, Rihanna has scheduled a "777" promotional tour. The tour will take Rihanna through seven shows in seven different countries over the course of seven days. We're detecting a theme here... (Idolator)

+ NBC will host "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together," a telethon to benefit victims of the superstorm. The telethon will feature performances by Christina Aguilera, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Jon Bon Jovi and Sting. NBC's Matt Lauer will host, and Jimmy Fallon will appear. Tune in on Friday, Nov. 2 from 8 to 9 p.m. ET on NBC. (MTV News)

+ Speaking of Rihanna, she's also scheduled to perform on "Saturday Night Live" on Nov. 10, making it her fourth appearance on the show. Rihanna will be joined by host Anne Hathaway. (MTV News)
