Buzz Bites (12/6/12): Frank Ocean, Kanye West, And Jay-Z Each Score Six Grammy Nominations

Frank Ocean has been nominated for six Grammys, including Album Of The Year.

+ The Grammys announced their 2013 nominations via a live concert last night, and several artists tied landing the most nominations. Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Jay-Z, fun., and Mumford & Sons each scored six noms. Miguel and The Black Keys each received five. (MTV News)

+ Legendary jazz musician Dave Brubeck passed away yesterday. The Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner would've turned 92 today. (Rolling Stone)

 + Rihanna's teaming up with Style Network to launch a fashion competition reality show next year called "Styled To Rock." Designers can enter via the network's website and RiRi will choose the 12 designers who will make the cut for the show. (MTV News)

+ Big ups to Alicia Keys, whose Girl On Fire topped the Billboard 200, making this the fifth #1 album of her career. (Billboard)

+ Speaking of "Girl On Fire," Pink covered the song for "BBC Live Lounge" yesterday. Listen to Pink's rendition, along with her own "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" and "Try" from the session. (Neon Limelight)

+ 2 Chainz and PSY have apparently recorded a song with Diplo, because of course! 2 Chainz has collabo'd with almost everyone already, and PSY's gone HAM with "Gangnam Style" (and his horsey dance), so it seems an ideal match to us. (RapFix)

+ Jack White took the internet to task, specifically Twitter and the media, for taking a quote out of context about Lady Gaga, which was falsely made into a slam on her music. For the record, he never said a word about her music. (MTV News)
