Buzz Bites (3/15/12): Childish Gambino Injured, Cancels Woodies Appearance

Childish Gambino cancels his mtU Woodie Awards appearance due to injury.

+ Donald Glover, AKA Childish Gambino, fractured his foot while performing in Tampa. He has cancelled his mtvU Woodie Awards appearance and rescheduled his tour. The Woodies Festival kicks off in Austin at 2 p.m. ET today. (MTV News)

+ One Direction may break Billboard 200 chart records next week. If they sell the predicted 160,000-180,000 Up All Night albums, they will be the first U.K. band in history to debut at No. 1 on that chart. (Billboard)

+ The "X Factor" is in search of some new judges, and they tapped Glee's Darren Criss for the job. Reportedly he is declining the gig because of his packed schedule and his focus on singing and dancing. (E!)

+ Melanie Fiona's The MF Life was originally slated to drop last year, but was held up. It will be released March 20. Luckily for us, the delay provided the opportunity for collabs with Nas, Drake, J. Cole and T-Pain. (Billboard)
