Buzz Bites (4/12/12): Green Day Plans A Trilogy Of Albums

Green Day plans a trilogy of albums to be released between September 2012 and January 2013.

+ Green Day has been prolific of late. The band announced they will release three consecutive albums -- ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tré! -- all between September 2012 and January 2013. The first, ¡Uno!, is set to drop Sept. 25. "This is the best music we've ever written, and the songs just keep coming," the group said in a statement. (MTV News)

+ Axl Rose has refused his induction as a member of Guns N' Roses in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, writing on Facebook, "I strongly request that I not be inducted in absentia and please know that no one is authorized, nor may anyone be permitted, to accept my induction or speak on my behalf." + Beyoncé shared a handwritten letter to first lady Michelle Obama on her website. "I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to," Bey writes. (Rap-Up)

+ Adam Lambert revealed the artwork for his second single from Trespassing, the Bruno Mars-penned tune "Never Close Our Eyes." Peep his sunglasses-chic cover and listen to an acoustic version of the song. (Neon Limelight)

+ Lil Wayne revealed during last night's "Hip Hop POV" MTV series premiere that he's working on a new album, which is called Devol. "That's 'loved' spelled backwards, and it's my version of love songs," he said. (MTV News)

+ Marc Anthony officially filed for divorce from Jennifer Lopez. The erstwhile couple announced their separation in June. (Billboard)
