+ Pink revealed her smokin' cover art for The Truth About Love yesterday. Lead single "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" was produced and cowritten by Greg Kurstin of Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" fame. The album is slated for a Sept. 18 release. (MTV Newsroom)

+ There are probably a gajillion benefits to being the girlfriend of a star, and being birthday serenaded by Rihanna is pretty much better than all the cake in the world. One Direction member Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend, Eleanor, received the special song. Lucky gal! (Neon Limelight)

+ Mandy Moore has begun work on a new album, and she and hubby Ryan Adams will collaborate. "I'm not sure necessarily in what capacity, but we've been writing a little bit together. He has a studio, so I definitely want to make the record there," she reveals. (MTV Newsroom)

Deep Purple's Jon Lord passed away yesterday from a pulmonary embolism after battling pancreatic cancer. In addition to co-founding Deep Purple, he later played keyboards for Whitesnake. (MTV News)
