Buzz Bites (7/19/12): Demi Lovato Reveals She’s Writing Her Fourth Album

Demi Lovato's writing her fourth album; also talks "X Factor."

+ Demi Lovato talked shop yesterday with Ryan Seacrest, and revealed she's writing her fourth album. "I'm still experimenting with what direction I want to go in right now," Demi said. She also dished on her fellow "X Factor" judges, saying of Britney Spears, "She's amazing, and I'm having so much fun with her." On Simon Cowell: "He's not my type." (MTV News)

+ The recent paparazzo pursuit of Justin Bieber, which led to a high-speed chase and landed the Biebs with a speeding ticket, may become the first case filed under the anti-paparazzi law. If the paparazzo is found guilty, he could serve up to a year in jail. (Billboard)

+ It looks like Nas is heading to the top of the Billboard 200 chart next week with Life Is Good. This will be his sixth No. 1 album. Life is good, indeed. (Billboard)

+ Watch this week's No. 2 Billboard charter Frank Ocean covering Prince's "When You Were Mine." He's also joined by fellow Odd Future member Earl Sweatshirt for "Super Rich Kids" during Ocean's show at L.A.'s The Wiltern. (Pitchfork)
