Buzz Bites (7/25/13): Selena Gomez’s ‘Stars Dance’ Expected To Top Billboard 200!

Selena Gomez's "Stars Dance" is expected to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200.

Selena Gomez's new release is likely headed to the top of the chart!

+ It looks like Selena Gomez may score her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with Stars Dance! The album is expected to debut in the top spot with an estimated 90,000 to 100,000 copies sold in its first week. (Billboard)

+  Austin Mahone is slated to appear on Big Time Rush's Nickelodeon show of the same name this Thursday. The episode will be the Season 4 finale. (MTV News)

+ Watch Busta Rhymes' (definitely NSFW) video for "Twerk It" featuring Nicki Minaj. As you'd expect from the name of the song, which will appear on the rapper's forthcoming E.L.E.2 album, the clip natch features plenty of booty-shaking and twerking. (Just Jared)

+ Fiona Apple plays the drums and sings in the new video for "Hot Knife." The tune hails from 2012's (deep breath) The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver Of The Screw And Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do. (Hive)

+ Joe Jonas was asked to answer the impossible (to us, anyways) during Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" in a segment entitled "Plead The Fifth." He had to rank Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Selena Gomez in order from most to least favorite, and, with a little hesitation, he somehow managed to pull it off! (Idolator)

+ One of Kanye West's more recent collabs wasn't not with another artist, but rather an author. The rapper paired with writer Bret Easton Ellis for a Yeezus promo inspired by the film "American Psycho," which is based on Ellis' novel of the same name. "I just got a text one day... it said, 'It's Kanye, do you have time to rap?'" the author told MTV News. (MTV News)
