Buzz Bites (8/6/12): Frank Ocean, Red Hot Chili Peppers And More Draw Record Crowds At Lollapalooza

Frank Ocean wowed Lollapalooza festival goers on Saturday.

+ Lollapalooza 2012 wrapped up last night. Check out MTV News' review of Red Hot Chili PeppersSaturday show, a recap of Friday's show by The Black Keys and Black Sabbath, Jack White's set on Sunday, and a review of Frank Ocean's Saturday performance, whose set, in my opinion, was the best of the fest. + Passion Pit also made a triumphant return to the stage at Lollapalooza after taking some time off to give singer Michael Angelakos a chance to, in his words, "improve [his] mental health." (MTV News)

+ The festival also announced that they're launching an additional Lollapalooza locale: Tel Aviv, Israel. "Tel Aviv goes all night long, there is no curfew, they've got all these incredible nightclubs, they love dance music, Yarkon Park, can hold 60,000 people, and it's right off the beach. What else do you need?" Lolla founder Perry Farrell said. (MTV News)
