+ Avril Lavigne announced her upcoming album's title (Avril Lavigne) and revealed its striking cover art yesterday via Instagram. We don't have an official release date yet for the eponymous album, but we do know that it will feature hubby Chad Kroeger of Nickelback and Marilyn Manson. (MTV News)

+ Speaking of album covers, Jason Derulo also unveiled the artwork for Tattoos, which streets Sept. 24. Not surprisingly, it features the singer in profile covered in ink. "Life-altering experiences are like tattoos stuck to you for life," he explained; the title was derived from his long rehabilitation period after suffering a broken vertebrae back in early 2012. + OK, there must've been a pop star artwork memo that went out, because Katy Perry also revealed the cover of her upcoming single, "Roar." Matching the song title, Katy looks ferocious in a tiger-embroidered, Japanese silk Sukajan jacket. (MTV News)
