Buzzworthy Obsession: Disclosure, ‘When A Fire Starts To Burn’ (VIDEO)

Check out Disclosure's "When A Fire Starts To Burn" video.

U.K. brother duo Disclosure blow things up, literally, in their "When A Fire Starts To Burn" video.

"When a fire stars to burn, right? And it starts to spread..." goes the repetitive sample hook at the heart of the new track "When A Fire Starts To Burn," from U.K. electronic duo Disclosure. In terms of context, they're probably referencing the rapture (we think?), but that lyric might also be talking about brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, who have been on a tear of success over the last year. Examples? Well, not only did "Fire" hit No. 1 in the iTunes chart just a few hours after it was released in the U.K., but the boys have recently dropped a scorching new video for the track.

The latest single, from their debut LP, Settle, follows three of the biggest crossover hits in the electronic world both at home and abroad. First came "Latch," one of 2012's most danceable and romantic tracks, featuring high-pitched R&B crooner Sam Smith, followed by "White Noise" with AlunaGeorge and "Me & You" featuring Eliza Doolittle. Settle continues the producers' streak of tapping top-notch vocal talent to inject their U.K. garage compositions with emotion, including a guest spot from Jessie Ware.

As the brothers told MTV Hive recently, a lot of the songs are influenced by their listening to Chicago house and the aforementioned garage, but with a decided song-writing bent, which probably explains why they're blowing up beyond the EDM world. "The vocal[s are] influenced by classic songwriting," Guy said. "I used to listen to loads of Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush. If you listen to 'White Noise,' it’s not actually a house song, it's a pop song. It has verse-chorus. It’s got meaning behind it and some structure. The idea of that runs throughout the album."

The duo, who've completed a sold-out U.S. tour, including dates at Coachella and SXSW, which was one of the only must-see's on our schedule in Austin that week, will follow it up with Lollapalooze, Osheaga, and HARD LA and Redrocks dates this summer. The rest of the country is likely to be swept up into the momentum when the album drops next week. As the "When A Fire Starts To Burn" video shows, when you've got such a charismatic delivery, it's easy to lose yourself in the rapture. "We see you sinner. You need to be saved," the evangelist explains to his congregation. "We're here saving people. Come on down now, the fire's starting to burn."

Just try to not to spontaneously combust on the dance floor if you can help it.
