Chris Pratt Talks About Being First To Say F**k In MCU For Guardians Of The Galaxy 3

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 contains the first use of the word "f**k" in MCU history. Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury nearly said the word in the post-credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War. But Chris Pratt's Star-Lord will plainly drop the F-bomb in the new Guardians film. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Pratt said he has been trying for years to say the unholy word in the Guardians series, and he's happy to finally get it done.

"I think everybody has tried. With a PG-13 movie, you typically get two sh- words. Maybe you can get one F-word. Everyone is always lobbying, throwing out an improv [line] to try to get it in there. For years, I've tried--it's not the first one I've tried to get in the movie," Pratt said. "They edited it together. It was a funny beat. So they kept it."

Here's the scene where it happens in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. In the clip below, the swear word is bleeped out, but it won't be in the movie.
