As many of you know last Wednesday Mattycollector.com and Mattel posted a graphic across their social media platforms with the logos of the different lines and licenses that would be included in their 2016 Comic Con exclusive line-up along with the promise that the exclusives would start to be revealed last Friday.

  Friday came and went without an peep from Mattel.  then sometime on Saturday this update was posted:

The wheels are turning and in a few days we will start the reveal of our exclusives here. We can’t wait to show you what we have created for you this year!! In the meantime, mark on your calendar: our pre-sale will run from June 16 to June 26 at mattycollector.com. More to come!

While Mattel has fans twisting in the wind on when they will reveal ANY of their 2016 Comic Con exclusive line up, other sources seem a little more free with information.  Below we have confirmation of the DC Super Hero Girls exclusive.

Yesterday Fortune.com published an interview with Diane Nelson, president of DC Entertainment, president of Warner Bros. Consumer Products, and president and chief content officer of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment,  about the billion dollar success of the DC Super Hero Girls line, and in the article she was quoted as saying “Mattel will launch a 12-inch Katana action doll as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive.”

So there you have it.  We don’t have an image of the doll yet, but there’s confirmation that Katana will be the Exclusive DC Super Hero Girls item for San Diego Comic Con.

Now we know the DCSHG, the She-Ra and the two Monster High items.   We will keep you posted on any additional items that Mattel reveals.
