Diablo III PS3 spotted on German retailer

E3 2012: Listing for Blizzard's role-playing game spotted online; no confirmation from Blizzard.

A German retailer has posted a listing for a PlayStation 3 version of Diablo III.

According to the retailer's online site, the console version of the game includes a "brand new feature."

The product listing shows the game has been classified by the USK (the German abbreviation for the Entertainment Software Rating Board or ESRB) with a rating of 16 and over. It is listed with a price of 66.66 euros ($83.27).

Speculation of a console version of Diablo III has been circulating since the game was first announced at BlizzCon 2008. At the time, company representatives confirmed the title only for the PC and Mac, quickly followed by a teasing "for now."

In November last year, Blizzard began a search for console lead designers for the game. However, last month Diablo III game director Jay Wilson said Blizzard is not presently working on a console version of the dungeon crawler, saying the company is not sure whether "it will work."
