After more than a decade, EA Sports is getting ready to bring back its college football series. The game's social media pages were updated today, February 15, to include the announcement that a full reveal of EA Sports College Football 25 will happen in May. The game will then launch in the summer ahead of the new college football season that kicks off in August.

This isn't a huge surprise, though, as EA Sports said back in November 2022 that the company's next college football game would arrive in Summer 2024. But what is new here is the name of the game--EA Sports College Football 25--and the announcement window in May.

The last time EA Sports released a college football game was back in 2013 with the launch of NCAA Football 14. Fans, including Snoop Dogg, have called on EA to bring the franchise back for years, and now it's finally happening.
