Evolve’s Behemoth, Season Pass, and PC Monster Race Edition Detailed

Turtle Rock Studios and 2K today announced details surrounding the fourth playable monster in upcoming co-operative shooter Evolve. As voted by the community, the monster is aptly named Behemoth and will be available "this Spring." Behemoth is a towering rock monster who can transform into a vast boulder and roll around the environment as a means of travelling quickly.

Evolve Season Pass and Deluxe Edition Details

Publisher 2K also detailed the Evolve Hunting Season Pass, which will allow immediate access to three Monster skins when the game ships on February 10. This season pass will also grant players access to four new Hunters when they are released later in Spring as DLC. The Hunters will be available to purchase separately outside of the Hunting Season Pass for $7.49 each.

The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a copy of Evolve and the Hunting Season Pass. Players who pre-purchase either the regular or the Deluxe versions will receive the Monster Expansion Pack for free, which includes Behemoth. Alternatively, Behemoth can also be purchased separately for $14.99.

PC Monster Race Edition

Meanwhile, 2K Games also revealed the Evolve PC Monster Race Edition, which includes the main game as well as the Hunting Season Pass, a fifth unannounced playable monster, two additional Hunters, and four Monster skins that will will be timed exclusives for 30 days. Those who pre-purchase the PC Monster Race Edition will also receive Behemoth and the Savage Goliath Skin when they are released.

Xbox One Pre-Order Promotion

The Evolve Digital Deluxe Edition is currently available for digital pre-purchase on Xbox One and PC, and will be "available soon" for the PS4.

Xbox One owners who digitally pre-purchase the game can pre-load from today, as well as access the Xbox One Evolve Open Beta. Pre-purchasing the game on Xbox One will grant an instant unlock of the Wraith Monster and third tier of Hunters, which can be used during the open beta and at launch. Pre-purchasing on Xbox One will also grant access to the Monster Expansion pack for free.
