Florida Joker Threatens Lawsuit Over GTA 6 Character, Wants Millions

Florida Joker--real name Lawrence Sullivan--has again taken to TikTok to complain about Grand Theft Auto 6. Sullivan is claiming that a brief moment in the debut GTA 6 trailer references his 2017 mugshot, amongst several other real-life incidents in Florida. Similar to that viral image, the GTA 6 trailer features a mugshot of a man with dyed hair--purple instead of green when compared to Sullivan's picture--and an assortment of facial tattoos. Sullivan is now threatening legal action against developer Rockstar Games, unless they pay him several million dollars in compensation.

"GTA, I'm giving you the biggest free marketing [you've] got in the entire history of running this GTA game," Sullivan said in a new TikTok video while sporting freshly dyed purple hair. "For that, I want an extra million dollars. You're all taking forever to respond back to me. GTA we've got to talk. You think I’m playing? You got three days, three days before my lawyers go crazy on this case. This is not like the Lindsey Lohan case. I've got hard evidence. Hard evidence!"

Roger Clark, who voiced protagonist Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, offered some advice to Sullivan and suggested that he take advantage of his 15 minutes of fame before it was too late. Clark also advised against challenging the studio in court, as that's a battle that Rockstar is more than prepared for. Just ask Lindsey Lohan.
