Greenlight – GreenLight and STP® are Gearing Up Together!
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (January 2017) – GreenLight Collectibles is proud to announce that it has entered into a license agreement with Spectrum Brands’ Global Auto Care Division to manufacture, market, and sell STP® die-cast collectibles.
In 1954 Charles Dwight (Doc) Liggett, Jim Hill, and Robert Dehart began packaging STP® Oil Treatment in a backyard garage.  Since then, for over 60 years and countless miles, STP® has become one of the most trusted names in automotive care.  Everyone from the casual driver to professional racers have relied on STP®’s proven products from oil and fuel additives to brake fluid to motor oil.  Besides providing high quality automotive care products, STP® has also sponsored some of the most recognizable names in racing, which allows GreenLight to produce some of the most requested and sought out die-cast vehicles.
With this licensing agreement GreenLight will be able to continue to provide collectors and fans with new and exciting high quality die-cast vehicles. One vehicle currently in the product line-up is the STP® decorated 1971 Dodge Charger – item #41010-E in the Running on Empty Series 1.
With the news of the new GreenLight and STP® licensing agreement going around, GreenLight employees are excited to produce some great brand-new STP® die-cast collectibles. GreenLight VP of Licensing and Product Development Matt Elliott said, “Collectors have been requesting STP® vehicles for a while now, we are all excited to see what new products will be made available with this recent licensing agreement.”
