As much as we'd like to believe that Lady Gaga is her own Mother Monster who hatched herself from a prismatic, celestial, unicorn-populated land as illustrated in her "Born This Way" video, it's an earthly fact that Lady Gaga was born a real person, who came into this world as a naked, screaming baby infant (like you and I, only destined for much, much greater things) named Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta 26 years ago today.
Regardless of her mortality, and despite the fact that she wasn't born a human-motorocycle hybrid, we firmly believe that Lady Gaga was born to lead a race of people who, in her sage words, "bear no prejudice, no judgment, but boundless freedom."
