Hasbro Ghostbusters Plasma Series Neutrona Wand (1984) Unboxing & Review

“Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” is just a few days away from releasing, in anticipation I’m taking a look at the newly released and recently announced Neutrona Wand (1984). Here’s a video I made with a few more pictures and thoughts below:

Most of my thoughts are in the video above but the TLDR version is that I find this to be an excellent reuse of parts and looks great. I played Ghostbusters for about an hour with my son because this is such a well-made replica.

I personally wanted my HasLab Proton Pack to be more like the 1984 version so having this Neutrona Wand pretty much completes the pack for me. Also, my Spengler’s Neutrona Wand doesn’t have the orange nub so the 1984 Wand allows me to do the cosplay of my childhood dreams.

If you’re on the fence I’d say give it a shot since I don’t foresee Hasbro releasing another Proton Pack anytime soon and if they do it will most likely not have a Neutrona Wand. These are high quality, very fun to play with, and have a reasonable price point. It’s still available to purchase from HasbroPulse Here. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
