I saw this display at a Target store in November 2014. This was at a Target store in Los Angeles that I don’t normally visit. I’ve never seen it anywhere else again. It was made of plexiglass and bolted to the shelves. The projector was fully encased in thick plexi so that it couldn’t be stolen. The projector was in the very back corner and then angled out towards the cutout. The projector projected the image of Optimus Prime onto the plexi so he could talk, blink and make small movements while holding the Autobot logo shield. The image on the shield would cycle through its program showing off Hasbro Transformers movie products and then in between items Optimus would talk and give commands such as “roll out!” It was a really cool display. It did it’s job and caught my eye.
