INVICTA Challenge Kickstarter is LIVE – Featuring 4″ WWII Action Figure by The Four Horsemen

A new kickstarter campaign launched today started by my friend and former Mattel and Spin Master brand manager Jim Murphy called the INVICTA CHALLENGE.  Several of the rewards and stretch goals feature action figures designed and sculpted by the Four Horsemen Design Studio.   Check out all the details about the campaign below:

INVICTA Challenge tells true leadership stories through graphic novel games, collectible figures and model kits.

Please help us launch INVICTA Challenge – books, games and toys that tell true stories about physical, mental and moral leaders.

Extensively researched and historically accurate, our graphic novel games are based on educational research to improve boys’ reading and critical thinking skills.

Most importantly, INVICTA Challenge games involve boys in decision making, so they are better prepared for real life challenges.

Based on a strong value system and illustrating positive role models for boys, INVICTA Challenge’s mission is to inspire boys to lives of leadership, creativity and excellence.

1. Leadership Decision Challenge (LDC): 1

In the first Leadership Decision Challenge, the reader plays the role of Turner Turnbull. Similar to a “Choose Your Own Adventure”, boys make decisions that determine the narrative.

2. Collectible Action Figure

Each Leadership Decision Challenge is paired with a physical product, such as a collectible figure or model kits. Boys are hands on, and they are more likely to read something that is tied to an activity they enjoy, like collecting or building.

Target Age Range – Boys 8-12 years of age and their parents.

INVICTA Challenge is a multigenerational brand, and we expect that parents will enjoy the experience as much as boys.

Our goal of $40,000 will allow us to pay for the tooling and inventory for the first story, but we have stretch goals that will allow us to bring other leadership stories to market by August, 2015.

If we reach $80,000, we will unlock additional figures at $40,000 increments. Our high end goal is to raise approximately $200,000 with this Kickstarter.
