K-Pop Songs Of The Summer: 2NE1, Dynamic Duo, 4minute, Ailee, And More

Listen to Buzzworthy's K-Pop Summer Jams, featuring songs by 2NE1, 4Minute, Ailee, Dynamic Duo, and more.

2NE1, 4minute, Ailee, and Dynamic Duo all made our K-Pop Songs Of The Summer playlist.

As the mercury rises, it's super easy to get lazy -- and not just in terms of stationing yourself in front of the A/C unit 24/7 while wearing a bathing suit as actual clothing because SHUT UP you're not my mom. We're talkin' about your music library. That's why we've chosen our nine K-Pop Songs Of The Summer to help keep your #SummaJams from getting stagnant. See anything major we missed? Tweet your suggestions to @MTVBuzzworthy, and then stop your complaining or I WILL TURN THIS POP-MUSIC BLOG AROUND.

1.) 2NE1, "Falling in Love"

If you can't quite picture the sound of reggae dancehall-meets-contemporary K-pop, just give girl group 2NE1's dutty wine-able comeback single a listen. Even if you still can't find the words to describe this sun-kissed slow-jammer, #YourBodyWillUnderstand.

+ LISTEN TO 2NE1, "FALLING IN LOVE"

2.) Dynamic Duo (ft. Muzie of UV), "BAAAM"

One of South Korea's most successful hip-hop tag teams, Choiza and Gaeko of Dynamic Duo are giving us some SERIOUS LFO in the "Summer Girls" video vibes... except they're, like, all grown and sexy MEN now instead of SoCal Summer 1999 guilty-pleasure flings. Basically, what we're trying to say is #MERCY.

3.) 4minute, "Is It Poppin?"

There are many essential questions to ask yourself this summer, like "How many cutouts is too many in a bathing suit?" or "When should I set my ingenious plot to marry the #RoyalBaby 18 years from today into motion?" The only one that matters, however, is pop quintet 4minute's "Is It Poppin?" (FWIW, yes it IS indeed poppin'.)

+ LISTEN TO 4MINUTE, "IS IT POPPIN?"

4.) Ailee, "No No No"

We can't tell if Ailee's track sounds more like Amber Riley singing a Katy Perry song on an episode of  "Glee," or Katy Perry singing along with Amber Riley while watching an episode of "Glee." Either way, "No No No" is the perfect song to belt with the besties as you all key a recent ex's car light sparklers and watch the summer sun set.

Geeks, Kim Lum, SPICA, and Jay Park round out the playlist.

5.) Ailee, "U&I"

And because girlfriend's voice is too big for only one spot on this list, Ailee's "U&I" charts, too. Imagine if you put first-album Beyoncé in a blender with third-album Christina Aguilera (with just a dash of The Pussycat Dolls' "Wait A Minute"), but -- instead of a horrifying bloodbath  -- you'd get this AH-MAZING #IDontNeedAMan anthem.

+ LISTEN TO AILEE, "U&I"

6.) SPICA, "Cups ("Pitch Perfect"'s When I'm Gone)"

Breathing new life into the Anna Kendrick original, South Korean fivesome SPICA's cover seems tailor-made for an August road trip. Just think of all the stories and secrets your friend group will share, like "Purple's not really my favorite color, turquoise is!," or "I ate my twin in the womb." "Karen's not my only best friend, you both are."

+ LISTEN TO SPICA, "CUPS ("PITCH PERFECT"'S WHEN I'M GONE)"

7.) Lim Kim, "All Right"

Much like a hypothetical Nouvelle Vague bossa-nova cover of the Françoise Hardy's rhythmically melancholic "Tous les garçons et les filles," Lim Kim's "All Right" manages to make us feel emotions this season other than "PARTY" without turning our summer into a bummer. Note to self: Remember to petition Nouvelle Vague to release a boss-nova cover of Françoise Hardy's "Tous les garçons et les filles."

+ LISTEN TO LIM KIM, "ALL RIGHT"

8.) Geeks, "Fly"

Are we the only ones getting "We Can't Stop" vibes off of Geeks' single? Like, somewhere around the one-minute mark, "Fly" starts sounding like it would mash up SUPER well with Miley Cyrus' summer rager anthem. HEL-LO, is there a DJ in the house?

+ LISTEN TO GEEKS, "FLY"

9.) Jay Park, "I Like 2 Party"

Rooftops! Hula-Hoops! Pole dancing! Nicki Minaj in "Super Bass"-style day-glo makeup and wigs under black light! Jay Park's ode to debauchery is one we can TOTALLY get behind. Best part? You get to have a pulsating summer party jam that the average fist-pumper will not know and therefore cannot ruin. #BlessedBe #AndSoItIs
