Ke$ha Paints The United States On Her Face On The Cover Of V Magazine (PHOTOS)

Ke$ha works her best red, white, and blue on the cover of V Magazine.

Ke$ha is a total doll, guys. It's not even the Fourth of July and she's showing support for our country by painting the American flag on her face! Well, that and she's the cover girl for V magazine's "Americana" issue. But we're sure she's a patriot at heart, too. On the cover, the "Blow" singer is topless, her wild blonde hair blowing in the wind and her only accessory is some expertly applied face paint makeup depicting the American flag. #MyFutureHalloweenCostume

Inside the issue, Ke$ha sheds some light on the pop star hierarchy: "I do feel like there are the pop stars of the world and then I’m like their dirty little sister, running around with s*** on my face in combat boots because I can’t walk in heels." (Girl, have you tried Dr. Scholl's? They're a lifesaver!) Heels or no heels, K-dawg is steadfast in her commitment to songwriting. She explains, "Everything I sing, I write. Love it or hate it, it all comes from me.” Ke$ha goes on to dish about her forthcoming disc (!!!) and the responsibility she feels now that she's crazy-ass famous: "The first record was all me living in L.A., trying to pay my rent, have a really good time... But ever since then I’ve seen how many people my music can reach, and I’ve realized that I have somewhat of a social responsibility to make sure everything I say is positive. The underlying theme of this next record is warrior, with the positive message being that everyone has a warrior inside.”

We love that, Ke$ha! Now if only you'd refrain from peeing in the street, you'd be an ideal role model.
